Primary Responsibilities:
Train and develop proficiency with our current ERP system. Understanding system functions related to inventory costs and replenishment are crucial in a cooperative selling environment.
This role is primarily customer-facing based out of our Columbus Facility. Once initial system training has concluded the expectation is to spend 60%+ of your week customer-facing cultivating new growth within our existing contractor base and onboarding new customers.
The primary area of coverage is the state of Ohio and portions of West Virginia.
Ideally, this individual would possess the ability to onboard new customers that fit within our current business model. This would include prospecting, setting appointments, and establishing credit terms upon submission of a formal credit/COD application.
Assist customers in selecting products based on customer needs, product specifications, and applicable regulations.
This individual will also be expected to conduct weekly sales meetings with internal staff for recap purposes, establish action items, and planned the next steps.
There will also be a weekly pulsing meeting with the branch manager and general manager to ensure we maintain clarity and alignment in our short- and long-term plans.
Attend sales or trade meetings or read related publications to obtain information about market conditions, business trends, environmental regulations, or industry developments.
